Aug. 18 Stanford Power Outage - F@H servers down

For those of you having trouble getting / submitting WUs (including me) ...

Stanford was hit by a campus wide power outage earlier today. Power has been restored, and the F@H assignment servers should be back up shortly.

Stanford just got hit by a campus-wide power outage. We don't have any further information or an ETA at this moment, but a number of our servers are down. assign.stanford.edu appears to be up on emergency power at this time.

Update: power was restored a few minutes ago. However, we're still waiting for the server rooms to cool down before it's safe to bring all the machines back online. Please bear with us.

rocks and clubs nothin', I built another folding server this afternoon to bring online tomorrow morning - dual 2ghz kentsfields with 8gb ram and SAN attached running ESXi 3.5 u2 - got its twin getting prepped in the AM as well
