Should have everything by Friday. Decided the Z790 wasn't worth the premium over the Z690 right now. I can always upgrade to faster DDR5 memory down the road when prices drop further. The Kingston SSD is just to store Windows and small apps, I will be bringing over my existing two SSD's over that contains my steam/game pass/epic/origin libraries. When 4TB SSD's drop in price I'll eventually get one of those as well to house my main libraries.
This should be good for my dedicated living room gaming PC for at least 3 years. My i7 8700 lasted me quite a while but i think I'm gonna go a 3 year upgrade cycle here on out, keeping to the i5 or i7 series whichever brings the best bang for buck at the time. My RTX 4090 should keep me happy with 4k gaming for quite some time, really pairs well with my 65 LG C2 OLED especially with HDR gaming.
