Theater 550 audio/video sync problems

I have a Visiontek Theater 550 and have the newest drivers installed and no matter what program I use to view TV, GBPVR, mediaportal, DScaler, or Got All Media, the audio is not in sync with the video. I don't know what to do. I have tried different mpeg decoders in the programs, but still at times audio is out of sync. I have an AIW X800XT and I have no issues with sync using MMC 9.06 and 5.6 WDMs. What can I try now?

Have you tried the onboard audio instead of the Diamond Extreme? That would be easy to do and would at least rule out the sound card being the culprit.

Update:

The only program where the audio seems to stay in sync is Mediaportal. I have given up on GBPVR because mysteriously it has stopped working.
