Why is "AMD Radeon Discussion and Support" under constant spam bombardment?

Due to the constant bitch fighting and dick waving in that section spam bots see that as an active section of the site and target their electronicals in that direction. My bet is if if gen hardware keeps going the way it is soon they'll start showing up there constantly as well.

It's not just that section. We've been banning spambots all day every day in a lot of sections of the forum. OT is a mess right now if you're a mod. Like 50% of the threads we see listed are all deleted.

Well we've upset some Russians and they're a number of hours ahead of us. So the spam usually comes in during Russian working hours. We try to clean it up every morning. Hopefully it's not having too much of an impact. I think Lupe's made some changes that we need to stay on top of regarding new accounts. But right now there aren't many options outside of IP blocking anyone in Russia which isn't an option.
I can fly to Russia and huck a few cinderblocks through some vodka bottle manufacturing plant windows if that's what it takes.
